Whats up guys I think I have made posts before, but not many.

I am looking very seriously at getting a 93-00 impreza wagon and having an ej20 put in, especially since I-Speed is so close to me! Anyways my main question deals with my lack of knowledge about "older" impreza's.

I don't want to go through the trouble of doing a complete drivetrain swap, therefore ideally I want to get a 98-00 AWD black Impreza wagon. Is there such thing? I am expecting my search for a good impreza to take a long time since used I am having some trouble finding any used impreza's for sale!

So esentially was my ideal impreza ever made, and do you have any recomendations on where to look for used impreza's?

but to answer you question: Yes, looks for a Impreza L wagon. That is what will be the base of your project.


However, just buy chris's wagon... it's freaking fast...

Lol, yea I saw his wagon for sale. Unfortunatly I don't think I can afford that much right now, even though it looks pretty badass.

What are the exterior differences between the outback and regular impreza's? Just color or is their extra body cladding?

And yea I just figured out that interior difference today , I just wasn't sure about the years.
