yoshi's in Oakland for jazz music and sushi.. you gotta buy tickets in advance. Granted, you are "just sittin around" but at least it's out doing something.
find a place that's doing wine tasting.
Go bed shopping... look for one with bounce!

Maybe down the to the Pier. There is a place down at pier 39 where you could mix your own bath salts. She might enjoy that.
Josey and I made a lot of trips to San Francisco when we first got together. We used to love walking the city. One night we walked from the Pier 39 all the way to the financial district. That night we stopped at a small Russian market to pick up some champagne to have when we got back to our hotel room. It was pretty funny when some years later we saw that same market on Nash Bridges :rotfl:. We also used to take our Razor Scooters out there and ride the trolleys to the top of a hill and then ride the scooters back down. I can't believe we didn't kill ourselves, though I did melt the bottom of a shoe one time because my little brake got so hot

I think the time that my fiance and I spent in the bay area really brought us close. We were able to spend a lot of time walking and talking and just having fun.

Good recco, soggy.

as most guys said, take her to san francisco.

be a tourist. park your car at the market garage walk through union square, take a trolley to the piers, have dinner in little italy, china town, or clement. san francisco is gorgeous (when not raining) and romantic with out the stuffiness.

Or better yet, take the train down to SF. Way cooler and it makes it more of an adventure.

if your 21, take her up to napa and go wine tasting and out to dinner in St. helena or calistogia. There are some great resturants up there and lots of fun stuff to do.

There are plenty of nice gardens in SF. Some have events going on every now and then. Most have a nice picnic area as well.
