yoshi's in Oakland for jazz music and sushi.. you gotta buy tickets in advance. Granted, you are "just sittin around" but at least it's out doing something.

I think the time that my fiance and I spent in the bay area really brought us close. We were able to spend a lot of time walking and talking and just having fun.

as most guys said, take her to san francisco.
be a tourist. park your car at the market garage walk through union square, take a trolley to the piers, have dinner in little italy, china town, or clement. san francisco is gorgeous (when not raining) and romantic with out the stuffiness.

Angel Island is a good suggestion, lots of nice walking around up there + the picnic suggestion is two thumbs up....pier 39 walk is nice too and yeah the winerys up in napa are sweet...go to greystone at the CIA it st. helena = good good food...and yeah finish off the day with the bed as ppl have mentioned lots of moving can be done there hehheheh
