the palace hotel is really nice. they just got new theremostats thoughout their whole building. i have pics if you want to see the rooms.

yeah, if i was visiting and i wanted to stay somewhere nice. presidential suite is only $6k/night i believe. the staff there has always been professional and courteous to me, and you know how i look/dress.

are you going to be driving everywhere? if you plan to leave your car at the hotel, the palace is right next to the bart station.
