I checked that link.. Waste of time... Just get a razor blade and use it to pull up an edge, then peel with your fingers. Peel diagonally on the rear window so you don't damage the defroster lines. Afterwards use some goo-gone or goof-off. Just go slow and be patient.

Pulling it off is easy....getting all the adhesive off is not, especially off the back window where you can't really use a razor blade because of the defroster wires. When I removed the tint from the front two windows on my wife's wagon, it took me a good 1.5 hours and a lot of elbow grease.

When I removed it off my car, I went to the place on the corner of Bernardo and El Camino in Sunnyvale (Auto Sound??) and they removed it in like 10 minutes for $20. T'was worth it to me.

I'd be nervous about doing the back window myself though.

ask vincent....I'm sure he'll give you a fair price. Omega.

Why you taking it off?

I figured maybe you were taking the fronts off cause of a ticket or something. Fronts are cake.
