Where to get Manfrotto tripod/tripod head etc.

I'm trying to get a tripod that has levels in it,........basically I need one that is very true when you use height adjustments (for example velbon legs are so ****ty just raising/lowering=off kilter).........also precision adjustments are going to be useful.........this is for work not my dime........we will be doing a lot of random **** so getting a better tripod than we may really need won't hurt.....

Just looking for anyone with any experience with these etc....

basically i need to be able to move back a large amm. ~20ft and be able to hit exact fine distances while staying true to my target, well our floor isn't level and our walls aren't perfectly perp. so this is giving us issues. The ****ty pods are just to hard to adjust each time for that and plus the damn things won't stay level...........

i buy the Velbon's from Fry's, they are very sturdy for $30-$50

if not then try Keeble Schucat in PaloAlto, they always have like 20 different tripods on the showroom floor, except they are $100+

The only reason i bought Canon is that Nikon doesnt provide me with 5fps for $450!

OK, now i read he's not paying for it...still go to keeble and schucat. They have manfrotto... and velbon up to $500 tripods probably

My $40 Velbon has levels, stays level and is very sturdy. The secret is buying a 2.5lb weight and attaching it to the bottom of the tripod

i dont even know what a manfrotto is, i just take pictures

so you paid $450 to get 5 lousy pictures real fast? i would rather pay more for a slower better image... HAHAHAHA

my manfrotto and gitzo tripods are the most solid and they can hold up to 35lbs no problem.

I have a few velbons, they are all horrid trash. Especially once you have to make adjustments......

you raise/lower the tripod is no longer level, you pan same story.....the construction of the legs etc.. is that ****ty. They are horrible tripods, and I do know they make expensive ones, one of which I have. It's just like why get the velbon for expensive, they've shown their true colors especially since i'd have to test the **** out of it before I truly felt it was worthy.

I just want to express velbon is garbage/trash especially the ones at frys.....

thanks for info on the others guys, I will be checking them out just you really need hands on to see if it's going to fit my application well.

want to add the velbon's with levels I have are all down lower not towards the head, you really need both......and the level is so ****ty and small it doesn't do any good.

WTF is that suppose to mean?! Huh?!

Haha, Manfrotto makes some sick *** tripods. They are all over Amazon/Ebay/Local Camera stores. I don't know of places that rent, but I'm sure you can find some.

You get what you paid for get a Manfrotto end of discussion. You are not paying for it get the best of the best. There are lots of models, Manfrottoo has ones that you can adjust the legs independently, so doens't matter if you have a level floor or not. A ball head would let you make fine tune adjustment with a level and measurements. Get it from BHphotovideo.com. I've bought lots of stuff from them. Never had a problem
