where to get luxury/sporty rental cars?

my brother is coming to town from another country and wanted to rent a luxury or sporty type car for the week.

i did a "search" and found some decent cars through hertz (G35, M35, FX35), etc.

any leads on getting an RX8?

thanks in advance.

Budget ususally has something, the new Camaro, Mustang GT, Pontiac Solstice (don't put it down if it's had the new chip put in). It depends on how sporty he wants to get, you can rent Ferraris out of SF if you want.

You ain't finding either of those... M/T's in rentals are pretty much non-existant now.
Enterprise has Infiniti's, Caddy's and Mercedes. But reserve at least a week in advance and expect to pay a good chunk of change
