I'm in need of some header gaskets for my header install tomorrow, but all the Subaru dealership parts dept. are closed on Saturday.

Can anyone recommend a shop that sells such gaskets?

 

some of the nor cal vendors can get tehm today

I wish I would have seen this post earlier. I work in Stevens creek Subaru's parts department, and yes we are open on Saturdays. I worked today and we have plenty in stock. I know it would probably be too late but i can get you some gaskets Monday morning. FYI parts dept hours are mon-fri 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 8am to 4pm.

I think I heard Ryan (Unit 91) say that Stevens Creek Subaru parts department is open on Saturdays.

 

Unit 91? Oh, he's the parts manager there sent in to clean that place up and bring it up to par. That's right, he's the guy who can (and will) resurrect the reputation of that place.

 

GST sells gaskets. I just bought a 5 gasket set for $50

 

Stevens creek was open today...I bought 150 dollars worth of gaskets (6)

 

actually you got 9 gaskets total
2 manifold gaskets
2 intake manifold gaskets
2 tgv gaskets
1 top uppipe gasket
1 bottom uppipe gasket
1 downpipe/turbo gasket

You also bought Subaru long life coolant(which generally sells for 35) and the Subaru coolant additive.all for under 150. I knocked off as much as i could on the price. Sorry.

BTW Chris really helped me out guys I highly recommend going to Stevens Creek Subaru parts department if you want to be treated well!!!

 

We always try to help out anyone from I-club BTW I'm a newb when it comes to parts but I try my best.

 

The original poster asked for places open on Saturday. To my knowledge, GST is generally closed on Saturdays. Beside... it'd be unlikely for them to carry single port L exhaust gaskets.

 

you can try autohq not sure if they have any in stock or if they are even open but its worth a shot.
