If you're in the South City area, South City Car Wash on El Camino does a very good steam cleaning job. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for.
I've taken 3 of my past cars there with no regrets. |

There is a place in San Jose that specializes in steam cleaning. If you need the info, PM me and I will call the guy who had it done. He bought a 89' Subaru GL and the engine compartment was a mess. He brought it to this place in San Jose. Somehow that put hot steam from under the car, not a spray. It pulled off all of grease and crap from under the hood. His engine compartment now looks like it was when it was brand new. It cost something like $90. Kurlee Daddee (THE ORIGINAL)
I was incorrect in my comments above. I talked to the guy who told me about this place, and he said they really do use a steam cleanerpressure washer and some type of solution, so you need to bag up all of your electrical equipment. They do a really good job though. Here is the address if you are still interested: San Jose Auto Steam Cleaners 32 Stockton Ave 408-288-7440 Kurlee Daddee (THE ORIGINAL) |
