So.. I busted my passenger side tail light this morning and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one. Yes I know I can contact the dealer, buy some off CL, or somebody off of some forum but I can't spend close to $150 for one friggin tail light. What pick n pulls in the bay area carry subarus, or what other "import junkyards" are promising to give some calls to and see if they have my body style in the yard. I've searched on google a couple times a few months back and it really didnt get me anywhere. If you are reading this and have a passenger side tail and was to let it go for a reasonable price, shoot me a pm with your asking price. Dont ask me to offer.

I have a pair of '06s you can have for $100...obviously they are different style, but it would get you back on the road and give me back shelve space!

Call Kapa auto parts. Not sure of the exact price they sell em for but they were definitely a ton cheaper than the dealer when I had to buy 2 for mine.

 

Subarugenuineparts.com has new ones for about 25% less than dealerships or post in the classifieds.

 

They have been sitting in my closet for 4 year; I think I can manage another week Let me know.

 

But then you have to pay shipping too, which you wouldn't with a local dealer. I still end up getting parts from them cheaper, depending on what it is, and order quite a bit of stuff off them.

Aftermarket chinese parts for cheap. Never really had any big fitment issues either. Tell them you work at an auto body shop and the prices will likely be even better.




@ELI: Yea I took a ride in Adams STI. Man that thing hauls *** even with 3 people in the car. Now I need to take a ride in someones 16g w/ tmic and ewg to see which route I want to go. His powerband is definitely more suited for the freeway.
