I used to play all the time...believe it or not in my younger thinner days I could throw it down...I'm 5'10" this white boy had over 36inches of vert.
But now I'm fat..haaa. But I am moving and I do plan to start playing again.
Two great places to play...
Well this was back in the day that I played there and it always went off...I'm sure it still does. Central Park in San Ramon. Just off the freeway. Two full courts. Lit all night. I'd show up around 7 on friday night and run til 4am at times. Guys come out from Livermore/Oakland/SanJo. Ballers. I've played with college players and a couple pros there.
On the San Jose side you can hit up Milpitas........ Dixsen landing or however you spell that damn exit...I freakin pass it every day..haaaa. From 880 coming north you come of the exit right. Take your first right and follow it in. Courts are hoping from around 7. Don't know if they are lit but I'm pretty sure they are and there are constant games running. That's where I'll be playing. I move next week literally across the park.

Dixon Landing court is cool.
If you play the hack and slash em defense...flickenger is good for a good cut or bruise.
Cherry park in san jo, there's one in newark somewhere near ardenwood

daily i play where i can find game, usually logan in union city, a court across from the pepsi company in hayward, around fremont, theres some okay games there...
but in the summer, san ramon's bollinger park, its ON over there, really good competition, lots of good teams waiting to play and its pretty much all day long, lighted courts all night... its almost like rucker park of the bay area over there... most of those guys are college experience atleast or very talented hs'ers..
try and bring some of your own friends cause its easier to stay competitive if you guys know eachother and can read eachothers moves for great teamwork

Anyone know of a good place to practice around Hayward, San Leandro, Union City, or Fremont? I just wanted a nice place where I can gather up a couple friends and run a few drills or work on shooting.

When did you graduate?
