Where do you go for OEM parts?

I've been trying to get a hold of subaruaparts.com for about 2 weeks now IMO they suck!!! I got into a little fender bender and I can replace all of the parts myself. I'm just trying to save some money. The insurance co authorized me almost $1600 for repairs. Is there any co. locally that can help me out. I'm talking other than stealerships.
Thanks,
Jeff

Try calling Noah and Adam at LIC they seem to have a ton of parts laying around from converting Subaru's into fighter planes and the like. Another option would be to hit up Subaru and Kia recycling in Rancho Cordova as they typically have a couple of smacked up scoobies there which may have what you need at a much less price than from the dealer.

I guess I should have noted I'm looking for new OEM 2005. My car is brand new and so shouldn't the replacement parts be.

Where to get OEM parts

I usually try the larger parking lots but I tend avoid the malls.

AMD has quite a few WRX's in it and as long as you don't hit it up during shift change or lunch, then it's pretty easy pickings.

what about just going to a body shop, telling them what you need and ask if THEY can order the parts for you, but you dont need them to fix the car....just get the parts. Worth a shot IMO.

good luck

Edit: Subaruparts.com is where I ordered my STi LCAs, they gave me a pretty good deal, and the parts were shipped UbEr quick to me.....they come from WA. BTW, subaruparts.com, is a subaru dealership up in WA, and that site is thier Internet sales portion.

Subaruparts.com is awesome. For some reason their phone system has weird issues tho. Anyway, cheap parts, rediculously quick delivery, nice people. The people at Carlsen aren't even nice when they charge you full list for the wrong parts.

Anyway, the parent dealership of subaruparts.com is http://www.brucetitus.com/. Check it out, try a direct phone number instead of the toll-free, and ask for Subaru parts.

I'll try the direct number to subaruparts. All of the good feedback from them is why I want to work with them. I just wish they would get a hold of me. Many of the body shops I have contacted have some sort of mark up in addition to paint for the parts. If I can get them uber cheap from subaruparts that would rock. I am trying to stretch the ~$1600 as far as I can so I can get the big fog conversion for the '05. In additon I want a new hood. I don't want to bend it back. Holy smokes it still '04 and I got a dinged up '05
