If I'm going to install it myself I look at the BAIC classifieds or search online for the best price.

If it's something I need installed or tuned I just buy it from my favorite local shop.

I think classifieds are the way to go for exhaust components.

Ideally, support a local shop. If you do go for online vendors;

DO NOT SHOP WITH MAPERFORMANCE.COM

I would be glad to share some of my foul experiences with anyone that is interested, just ask.

I always go to EQ tuning for new/used. Ed has been able to source injectors/tmic/turbo/heatshield all slightly used for competitive price with short notice. The vf39 he sourced for me was great because it was low miles without a crack in the wastegate.

I'm pretty curious myself. Mostly because he pluralized the word experience. Experience vs. experiences. So bring on at least two examples of why they suck cause quite frankly you don't become a gold vendor over night. You certainly don't become gold vendor without merit. If bad things are to be said about a shop they need to be fully justified. It's really easy to jump on a bashing bandwagon. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just asking you to show me how you are right.
Thanks,
-J
