hey hey,

I run an AVCR and so does Adam at I-Speed. The difference is my AVCR is using a Kartboy CF mount for the RS.

On the WRX, I installed one for a friend and I mounted his screen right on top of the clock. Assuming you are still using the stock clock then that is where I would mount it. I did use the APEXi mounting piece that came with the unit. As for the solenoid, I mounted that to the plastic piece where the factory boost solenoid is. You will have to drill 4 holes for the solenoid. For the pressure sensor, I mounted that to a plastic piece that covers up the area where the silencer was. You will need to drill two holes for that.

Good Luck.

hahah yeah gagan i was planning on the utec after i get most of my parts. (err whenever i get the money to buy my parts) but i got a really good deal on this avc-r too. i bought it cause i need something to show me how much im boosting and something to controll the boost. and after realizing that the defi bf series is around 800 i decided to go ebc for now. but thanx for the input guys. actually i need to find another place to put it instead of infront of the clock cause im going to put my defi gauge hood where the clock is.

Sorry for trolling in BAIC, but

I installed mine down in front of the cigarette lighter. I would not recommend it, at all. It is very difficult to monitor your boost/rev levels and drive at the same time. Howeverm, if your concern is peak and whatnot, then this is great. If you have an aftermarket stereo, mount it in the new open slot underneath the head unit. Looks nice.
