My friend Alan over by United Autobody in San Francisco can do that.

He just wrinkle-red my friend's supercharger and valve covers on his AE86.

I can really buy this stuff and apply it myself! And I thought I had a problem with flat black. I am painting the gargae door in wrinkle red!

Where can I pick this stuff up Huck?

Or you could use your need for a wrinkle red turbo as an excuse to buy a new larger one from APS as they come in that color.

yup its like 8 bucks for a can of wrinkle red spray paint. A friend of mine did his valve cover and it actually comes out really nice.

I can tell you where not to go... Funny, I just had my JDM intake manifold stripped of it's wrinkle red and coated black.

Do you want it functional or just to "look pretty?" You can buy the can of wrinkle red paint as stated above, to make it look nice, although after a while it will most likely flake off due to overheating and normal wear and tear. If I'm not mistaken, the stuff APS puts on is actually a coating, not just paint. It's more functional.

nope, I got an SR40 here with it on and its paint just like the wrinkle red on the STI manifold.

I haven't done it in a while, but when I used to do the wrinkle finsh I had to bake the painted item in order for the paint to bond to the metal - when you did that it was a very robust paint job.

if you did not bake it, the it would easily flake off/scratch etc.
