i saw a lot of similar cars in japan... you can find small cars like that whenever a countries limited on space and is forced to grow upwards like India, china, japan etc. They look kinda weird to a lot of us but they are an absolute MUST have in tokyo. They have huge underground Carousel type garages where you punch a code and your car pops into the garge bay. It's very cool to see which is why you're seeing scions and other sh*t box style cars.
