Where can I find OEM 04 STi struts that don't cost an arm and a leg??

I put them on and they improve the response a bit (but not nearly like a set of ball top hats on coilovers). Hardly any NVH added... no where near as much as the "whiteline comfort ALK" I put on.
And no, the stock STI rubber is NOT group N. Someone did a durometer test on NASIOC which proved this. Stock STI rubber is the SAME as stock WRX rubber.

All USDM STis come with tophats identical to those found on all other Imprezas and Foresters, including N/A. They are not same as on a JDM STi or ones that Subaru sells as "Group N". I've been running Group N mounts, can't say they make anything worse but I also can't say they make a very noticeable difference. Unless your new setup comes with them, I wouldn't go out of my way to get them, but they won't make your daily driving significantly worse.

What struts do you recommend with these springs? I have the RCE on stock struts for over 15k on 04 sti with 81k total now on the struts and while they have been good up until recently im bopping like a bobble head on everything...
