Where can I buy pure methanol in the E Bay?

Looking for a shop or store that carries pure methanol in the east bay. It's for use with my injection system i'm installing on my VR4.

Any specific stores or shops? Thanks!

If you need small quantities of methanol, stop by your local Acura/Honda dealer and pick up a 16 oz. bottle of "Windshield Washer Concentrate Cleaner & Antifreeze". I work at Hopkins Acura of Fairfield, and I've got a bottle of the stuff in front of me right now. The only ingredient on the label is Methyl Alcohol, and it lists for $4.84 a bottle.

Hell, if you're ever in the Fairfield area and need some, stop by the Acura store and ask for 'Sean', and I'll sell it to you for $3.87 (standard wholesale). If you want, I'll sell you a whole case of 24 at wholesale price. Beauty of it is, all most people see is a bottle of "washer fluid" instead of the "anti-detonant injection" (old aircraft reference) it could be!

You sure you want to use that fuel? It's going to corrode the hell out of your fuel system unless you do a complete fuel line flush after each filling. Sounds like a pain in the *** to me.

Ed

Its for his meth injection kit, it sprays directly into the throttle body, it wont ever touch the fuel lines

And save yourself the trouble and just find 5 gallon jugs of meth, stay away from using windshield wiper fluid

I will also be running something like 70/30 mixture of meth/distilled water. Thanks for the ideas, i've heard of the windsheild washer or cleaner products which are made of mostly methanol, but I figured the real deal would be much better and i doub't its much money more, if any. thanks for the ideas guys

Try denatured Alcohol as well. That's what I'm running in my SMC kit.

Why no washer fluid? I'm not trying to defend my position, I just wanna know the disadvantages of using it so I know not to recommend it and sound like a crackpot in the future. I thought it sounded good in theory, but I must admit I've never tried it.

BTW the stuff we sell is NOT pre-mixed. If you don't add water to it, it could take the paint off your car.
