I went outside this morning to move my dad's Outback from the driveway to wash my RS but noticed a nice big crack in his windshield. Upon closer inspection I noticed this wedged under the windshield wiper, poor lil guy...
if you have state farm, they might replace it for only $35 depending on what plan you have. (glass is different than the deductable) My parents just had to get their g35 coupe windshield replaced which would have been $600 for the same quality glass and got the stock windshield for $35 (that car you have to remove some body panels to get to it... also, they parked by a golf course at night when the course was closed and some dip**** decided to hit some ***** and sliced it.)
weird how the bird got stuck under the wiper, unless the car was parked and the bird rammed it at speed, you'd think the bird would go up and over after impact if the car was moving.

I have Mercury and when I cracked my windshield, they told me there is no special clause for windows damage. It was covered under my comprehensive ($250 deductible). I felt cheap and ended up going with 89glass.com which only charged me $150. Not the best glass but it hasn't broken again yet.
