Take your pick,
Pay $500/YR to 11/99 (they still might put you in jail, but at least you get invited to the policeman's ball)
or
drive to NV, spend $400 on entry fee and maybe win a trophy,
or
Take the chance on $500+ fine, 2 points, insurance premium increase and a months supension doing it on the highway with your radar detector.
I ain't gonna tell you what to do, just thought you might want to know your options.....

wait everyone has forgoten the whole 5150 thing. if your exceeding twice the speed limit like 100 in a 45 you can be held against your will in the loony bin to make sure you werent trying to commit suicide. Or maybe it is three times the limit, I cant remember anyway I was a minor on a race preped (not street legal) bike doing 185 over 7 years ago and the judge closed the file so on paper this never happened. Keep it on the track guys.

One more thing to consider.....
I have a class A liscence, 30 day suspension = loss of job!
I cannot say I haven't pushed it but I try to be good and stay in just the ticket range!

That $500/year doesn't even get you the "get-out-of-ticket-free" license plate frame. That's the annual membership.
You have to pay $1800 for the lifetime membership to get the license plate bracket.
Probably be cheaper to steal it off the GT2 I used to work next to.
