DONT DO IT

these guys are crap. wheels works (aka tires plus) has messed up my rims, lost lug nuts, done incorrect alignments and i've heard multiple reports that the steering wheels ends up calibrated odd ( you have to turn a bit to drive straight) after going to them.

avoid this chain store like the plague.

I thought you were going to Jiffy Lube!

I wholeheartedly recommend Auto Innovations after previously using Wheel Works in Hayward.

Don't listen to these people I think they are biased though I have heard Auto Innovations is a good shop while milpitas is a long drive.

I have done business on numerous occasions with Wheel Works on Franklin and Ocean streets. The Ocean street store I would NOT recommend as they were not very friendly to me and they took an excessive amount of time to finish the work.

But the Franklin store has always come through for me with excellent service (employees drive imports) and they get the work done on time every time I've been. I had tires mounted on wheels and balanced/alligned, they did a great job and you get a year of allignment included. also the tire mounting was for my wrx.

i used to work at the kragen right next to wheel works on ocean ave. by the way i saw them do things and treat the cars, i wouldnt let them touch my car even if they hook it up for free. and from what i can tell the staff there arent very professional at all.

Hell, you don't even have to be THAT local. I live all the way out in Antioch and I will only go to Auto Innovations!

yea they are nice and "cool" but the guys doing the alighment SUCK PERIOD. they will get your alighment just within spec and say oh thats fine. but its not like AI where they get it EVEN all the way around with toe and camber and such. I am telling you I can show you both when i got it done at wheel works on franklin and than two day later at AI and you will see the difference. (specs that is)
