Straight from Subydude's website:

Why use these lugs???

Stock lugs have a rounded seat and some have seat angles that are not the same as the ROTA which means SMALL contact point .(see illustration below)

THESE lugs have the same taper as rota lugs which means LARGER contact point. (see below)

Bottom line...

Use these lugs and LOWER the chanes of your lugs backout out of your wheels.

What davon told me, stock lugs are acorn shaped. Tuner lugs are more conical. Yeah... so... the tuner lugs will sit in a lot better than the stock ones.

You may want to double check, but I think by going with bigger/aftermarket wheels you will lose the use of your ABS...

I've seen people use the wrong lugs for so long, the wheel formed into the other type of lug . However, I wouldn't recommend doing that

reminds me that I need a new set of lugs.

I've got two sets of wheels: Torques and Tarmac IIs. I don't want anything fancy, what works and is not -over priced and where to get them?

thanks.

No I'm not, are you? Notice it was a joke from the icon I added at the end? It was a J-O-K-E...because the OP made a thread a few days ago about it.

Please don't believe the FUD that's spread.

That's alright, when you posted I was like, "What the heck, why is he taking this literally?" Surely no one would actually believe that...
