ok, so there are 2 reality shows on tattoo shops on TV which is cool and all but whats up with these tattoo parties? i heard about them down in LA and now they are up here. tomorrow my friends are throwing a tattoo themed party at NV and i just dont get it. this is the 5th tatto themed party i heard about here in the bay. anyone know what the hell this is all about?

I like the sorority girl "target" tattoos. Those are great fun.

 

Miami ink is awesome! Those guys and girl are amazing artists.

not really. the one's ive been to have pretty much consisted of really good house music and a tattoo shop with a booth. they do small tattoos on the spot and consult on larger ones. i saw a special on new parties on E! and the tattoo theme was one of them. kinda like how foam parties were all the rage a few years ago.
meh... there's one at NV tonight that my friends are throwing. i might go.
they just say "it's what's hot."

The point of going to a tattoo shop is the steril environment. No GOOD tattoo artist would work anywhere outside the shop, its just unprofessional. The ONLY exception would be a tattoo convention.
