What's the spare wheel well cover called?

The tab broke off of mine and seems to be just degrading due to use and age. Anyone know if there's other ones than stock? orrr have one in their garage they dont need anymore? Any ideas appreciated. It covers my amps below and has to be able to hold the weight of a type-x sub and a ??????lbs of fire gear lol.

It's called COVER 100% agree, just use that one as the template and make one. Dealer will charge you bucks and ones from a junk yard are going to likely be in the same or worse condition. It's just a sheet of Masonite.

Heedz, if you make one, make an extra for me as well since mine is somewhat messed up from having oil spill on it. Need to replace that cover and the carpet in the trunk at some point (if anyone has a spare trunk carpet in good condition hit me up).

BTW - The replacement from the dealer wasn't exactly cheap when I contacted Steven's Creek Part Department about the replacement cover and carpet. It might make sense just to go to a car audio place and have them make a new carpet and cover as it would probably be cheaper.

Dood I didn't think of that. Maybe I can integrate it with the carpeting or just cut it. What should I cut the acrylic with or do they make it for it you?

They should be able to cut it for you. They just need a template.

I have been wanting to do this for a while, but moved into an apartment a while back and don't have access to tools anymore. What I was going to do was basically as Snoopy suggested, use it as a template and make a new one out of high quality 3/8" plywood, and sand/paint it etc. It would not be hard to create a pattern that anyone could quickly apply to a piece of plywood, and then cut out with any kind of saw.

Best thing would be to use a table-saw, jig-saw or hand saw and then sand or route the edges. I had thought to bevel the underside and use new pieces of foam to make sure it stays in one place. If you want to make one the whole size of the trunk, you can do that, but it needs to be either two-piece, or have an access door in the center.

TAP plastics will cut it for you, they have all types of plastics there as well.

Check it out online too.

As long as you have dimensions or template they can. Different thicknesses too. I would definitely go this route.
