If you want them for your door, I have 2 extras that I didn't use in my AE86. I only used the trunk one. I'll sell them for [Dr. Evil] 1 million dollars [/Dr. Evil]!

Let me know if you want it.

I'm doing that to my cadi.

You run extra wire to somewhere like your trunk. If your fob goes dead you open the trunk. Pop the door and get in. And you hardwire a manual lever somewhere if you're smart. Someplace like the fender well or under the car. Someplace hidden. Maybe under the plastic liner in the fender well.

It's not that expensive to have done...the expensive part is gonna be repainting.

I'm having all the cadi work done for me...body work is gonna run me like $400. I'll probably wire in the door poppers myself. Then we're painting it myself. I might get lazy and have someone do the whole body work/install for me. Probably run me about $800 with equipment. Quality poppers are about $80 a piece. I'll run 2. And the electric antenna french kit is about the same.

STOKED> Got my glass packs going in this week...wooot. sorry for the side track.

So far so good. I think like Don said, every Filipino has them and I do think that they are easy to pry. Not that I've done anything like that before.

But they're universal Keys... so that means you can go to anyone who has them and open their cars?

I don't think so. I got 3 keys with it plus the emergency key. Can't be all the same. Wouldn't make sense to market them as "Safe".
