What's a good beater car?
My insurance is kinda expensive so my parents are making me find a cheap beater car to put my name on so i can still drive my car. Any suggestions? i was thinking maybe an old datsun 510... cause those are pretty cool... but yea i don't really know old cars very well... i'm looking for something under 2k.

I have a '94 Geo Prizm as my beater car. It serves its purpose as a commuter car, and takes all the damage from the inconsiderate people at the Chabot parking lot.
Right now I am selling a 1988 Subaru GL Hatchback. It was the one on craigslist for $50 with a blown motor, now everything is brand new, including engine and clutch ect. To me it will be a 600 dollar car, to anyone else it is worth 1,300. Keep your eye out and fix up a beater just to . . . well beat.
