What's the Deal W/ Vishnu Unichips??

I've been a lot of bad remarks about vishnu unichips. Can someone please tell me their experiences with Vishnu??

It's not the unichip (not the greatest, honestly), so much as it is Vishnu...

You can say what you want about Shiv ($$$), but the fact remains he's known nationwide for his tuning abilities.

Forget WRXs, his first claim to fame was being an expert Electramotive systems tuner.

Before WRXs came the Miata...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's not Shiv so much, but the fact that the Unichip sucks.
LOL
Coming in to defend his tuner!
Shiv is a badass tuner... but i wish he was open to other things, and i wish i would support people who don't run all Vishnu. He doesn't, so i don't recommend him. Simple as that.
Shiv is a business man...he is making big $$ and I don't blame him for it. His products essentially work.
I have a Vishnu Unichip and EMI adapter - Works really well, over 10,000 miles no probs. Mine was tuned by him on his dyno though.
Gagan couldn't have stated my thoughts any better. Oh, and Shiv has never produced an 11 second WRX. He is a safe tuner IMHO, not the best tuner. That trophy goes to TXS, by many miles.
I think that the guys at I-speed are fair. I think they do good work at a fair price, but I don't think of them as "tuners".
Maybe they are just too far away from me.
I have used his unichip stage 1 kit and now the ECUTEK reflash on a stage 1 kit.
Shiv is a perfectionist first, businessman second. If Vishnu has any problen is that it they are too successful. They don't have the staff they need to handle the high demand for their excellent product and services.
Drag racing or racing in general is not his point of focus, making the best product available is.
The fact that he does not work on non-vishnu cars is his call. He has told me "dyno horror stories" of certain cars coming into his shop barely running literally streaming fuel out the exhaust to the point where they had to evacuate the building (the shop at least). That's no joke.
Each time he does that it takes away time developing his product. The less time he gets to develop his product, the less money he makes. It's a simple equation.
