Like 2 gigs of ram, 3.9ghz chip (I think), 256mb video card, 10krpm harddrive, and various other crap that I cant remember... I'm sooo not into computers anymore so I dont even remember half the crap I have, but I have not been impressed by the 360... the graphics and speed almost the same as my machine, I dont see a damn difference, but I can do a hell of a lot more with PC games, like download them for FREE, use cheat codes of all sorts, etc, etc.

Besides, you can't compete with a keyboard and mouse unless you're playing GT4 or something like that.

i didnt even realize people were still lookin for these so far after the holiday season... you'd THINK Microsoft woulda learned from Sony's lame marketing ploy & just went for market share right off the bat.

 

Actually Microsoft had to make 5 million 360's by launch date. Plus Microsoft didn't want the same thing happening when they launch the first xbox. The first shipment was all defective and there was a mass recall, but few knew about it. So microsoft have the 360's in production but distribution are low because they dont want to hurry the manufacturer to lessen defect. Even so there is 15% of 360's that were made are defective. Also that since sony anounced that they are going to release the ps3 by they end of this year Microsoft doesn't have any pressure cause there is no competition and they believe by distributing 360's slowly will create suplly and demand. Thus flooding the market before the PS3.

Man screw bb, I friggin' hate that place. please don't buy anything from thier HD, they treat thier customers like garbage.

 

I am on my third replacement 360 right now. They sent me a refurb as a replacement, that ****er died in just a few days. They promised me a new one now though, we'll see in a few days. They gave me a hard drive and 2 free games because of the problems, doesn't bother me much since I barely play it with my schedule at work and soccer.

And thats BS on the computer... I am running an amd X2, 4 gigs of ram, and 2 256 video cards in SLi and I don't think mine compares. Wait til you see Ghost Recon or Morrowind in HD, frickin awesome.

i got mine around dec time by luck....just walking around in the store and the shipment came in... mine has like some kinda short in it. If i turn on the power button it doesnt show up on my screen. If i retry a few times it will eventually turn on correctly and load up on the tv...

 

360s are supposed to roll in by the *** load according to EB around April 1st (not an april fools joke). Since PS3's been pushed so damn far off I broke down and got one. Wireless controllers with the power button sure is nice. If only I didn't have to bother with swapping dvds.

brucelee: I hear ya. I got back into consoles because I got tired of constantly having to upgrade my PC. Consoles have yet to match the keyboard/mouse combo for FPS and RTS games. If you only love those then consoles don't help.

 

I never said my graphics were better... I said it doesn't compare to a PC because its a console and you have to deal with their game system for any issues, have to buy extra crap to be able to use cheat codes, nothing is as smooth as PC controls, etc.

My grapics looks pretty damn close to the XBOX, I dunno whats up with your guys' PCs... Though the only game I can compare to is Call Of Duty 2.
