I normally hate hotdogs, but my school had great hotdogs that were basically encased in a soft bread-like material. Mmmmm

Also, our school cinnamon rolls own3d, and they were only .75cents! They were bigger and better than cinibon.



Oh!!, and my school district had Turkey Day like once every two weeks... Mashed potatoes, diced white meat, gravy, and god damn it was the best thing ever. I've thought about getting onto campus and sneaking into the cafeteria to get some on a day off.

 

well growing up....Hot Dog day rocked in elementary school along with the burritos....

but i have to say my ALL time is those chocolate chip cookies the size of your head that were always under cooked!!! OMG FTW!

but my high school had taco hell, mikey ds, little ceasars, round table, chinese food, and a taqueria all on campus....so yeah we didnt have "cafeteria" food...

 

Tater totts, and those rib sandwhiches(not to be confused with those Mc ribs). At my elementary school they were the bomb :RockOn - not mine: For some reason our french bread pizza was great too! Our hs didnt have cafeteria food either only like you said : taco bell, pizza hut.

We had a taco bell but it only sold bean/cheese burritos and beef tacos. And they were like $1.50 each. FTL.

High school:
I have a few favorites...
rice with beef
hamburgers
all meat pizzas
soft serve
fishsticks-yummy

But I guess my real favorite was the rice and beef

Elementary school:
I loved the once a week burgers from McDonald's..

 

made a sandwich out of cheese bread and hash browns. anyone from live oak knows whats up

 

my HS had the best fries EVAR we also invented the concept of putting ranch dressing on everything.

 

I went to an all male high school. On Thursdays we had chili. Everyone would eat 2 or 3 bowls of the best chili around. Then during the periods after, we'd have fart contests. Good times!

 

I like tater tots, and we had TACo SALADS. i never even knew what those were till high school

Tator Tots during elementary and spicy chicken wings (1.50 for 6) during middle school and rice/meat during hs. my college cafeteria sucks, but my gf gets Buger king, indian food, taco's, star bucks, pizza hut, the goods at sac state.
