Just came across this at Costco the other day. The Dynamic Infrared Quartz Heater. Apparently it is safe for pets as it remains cool on the top of the unit, but it does produce a nice amount of heat. I'd consider getting one, but it's not like my bill is that high for PG&E most of the time being in an apartment, but if I had a house I probably would get this.

I dont like using the gas to heat up the whole house if I'm just in one room, which I'm typically in. I use an electric oil filled radiator, keep it on low in the master bedroom and it keeps it warm, not hot, doesn't use too much electricity, safe, quiet, and easy to use.

Oh and it cost like $50.

Seriously. My wife is retarded. She runs super cold. Meanwhile my daughter and I are like walking ovens. I don't really get cold and neither does she. My wife runs the damn heater all night and my daughter and I sweat all night.

She'll turn the damn space heaters on (we have 2) and then leave the ****ing doors wide open. So it does no good what so ever. Then she'll go in the kitchen and open the stove while my 20 month old and 3 month old puppy are running around. One of these days one of them is gonna catch on fire.

Hate it.

I need to go get fire wood and make her watch the electric bills. Was up $80 last month but I think mostly that was the ****ing smart criminal they just installed.
