i have access to more wood than i can burn. pg&e just widened the power line access roads which share property with my parents. over 200 trees were cleared out and dragged onto their property. going to spend the weekend spiltting it. figure i can make a couple grand locally selling last years seasoned oak, spruce and madrone.

This thread reminds me of a teacher in high school that we were convinced turned the heater up higher than normal so girls wouldn't wear sweaters/sweatshirts.

Ya my house was 60 last night and the living room window still open with a fan. I'm sick right now so I was under a mound of blankets with long pants and long sleeve shirt on and socks lol.

My house is 75 plus in the summer, why would I change it when it's colder outside?

I guess that's same about our house we are about 67 in the summer and in winter but I have to keep my place cooler for health reasons. Having ms it sucks being hot. In my past would have loved it warmer all the time also lived in Oregon when it would rain and be super cold in the winter.
