^ my mom has a 3g andd it is so slow! it takes like 5 min to turn on and it no longer has app support. for me I need a phone that runs fast haha

 

i was happy once with my 3g, then it got slow and i got angry. it had the scars to prove it. had to upgrade to a faster phone a few months back.

 

I'm dealing with my 3gs until the HTC Raider comes out.

not a big deal i will wait till the first quarter of 2012 for the iphone 5 to come out. hopefully the $20 billion sprint exclusive doesnt happen.

 

I send all my messages through homing pigeons or smoke signals. OK sometimes I use semaphore flags.

I've been reading a lot of hate about how it's not going to be the iPhone 5, but the question to me is "What were you expecting the iPhone 5 to be that the iPhone 4S isn't?".

We're you expecting it to be 4G / LTE capable? It doesn't seem like AT&T's network is ready for it to be upgraded to that yet even though it does seem like Verizon's network is getting more & more capable of it being able to handle that traffic now.

If not expecting that, then what? I'm curious as really there are more & more capable options on the market for these entertainment units that we used to call phones being offered all the time so the overall quality of the units on the market is vastly improved over even a few years ago.

So let me get this right, iOS5 is coming to the existing ip3S and ip4 as an update. Only the ip4S gets the siris speech assistant? WOW way to go Apple.

What would you guys expect from an "iPhone 5"? I mean, they could've just called this one the iPhone 5.

The only reason I'm upgrading to the 4S is because last year my mom had to get a 3G phone (AT&T offered free ones). I took the new ip4 and she took the 3GS. But I'm not going to complain about the better camera and faster processor.

 

How can sprint spend 20 billion when they have been in the red the last 6 years? I can see Verizon or at&t paying the 20 billion because both of them make about 80 billion a year, Srpint has lost money since they took over nextel

 

Exactly. This is really a 5 renamed a 4S. The net work was not 4G ready anyway.
