should i get these ones off e bay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-G...50139416QQrdZ1

Get KYBs if you want basic good shocks. Many shocks aren't great at lowspeed dampening mainly because it's more cost efficient and it makes the ride a lot less harsh when you're driving through a parking lot with speed bumps and other low speed bumps and dips.

Get Koni Yellows if you want better shocks. These have good low speed dampening which will make your ride harsher, but it'll be able to handle stiffer springs (if you ever want to upgrade) and overall is a better shock than the KYB.

I spent basically $600 on my Konis, while I believe that KYBs are about 1/2 the price. Like NW OBS said, the KYBs are the better route for what you want.

I think the slow boy racing link is only for WRX shocks.

thats a good deal for the struts, get them you'll love em.

Get rid of the S-tech springs though man, they will literally blow any strut you put them on.
The warranty section on the KYB AGX says that if the car is lowered more then 1.5" then buh-bye warranty!

KYBs are extremely expensive nowadays!

To be honest, I'd dump those Stech springs. They will ruin any shock you put on, and they ride like crap. If you want a good drop and a nice ride try H&R, or maybe the new Crucial springs. Perrin springs are pretty good I hear. Stech's don't ride well or handle well, they just make you car look good.

I'd get KYBs, unless you have a way of getting the koni inserts installed. give us a call (subydude) for either one if you want a local vendor to order something up for you.

ebay is kinda an exception though... if you can find a deal like that, must be "hot" items.

our cost is much more... trust me, I called the other day to see how much, and nearly hit the floor...

I remember when I could buy new ones for $375 retail from German Autowerks (hehe, who else remembers these guys... they've moved on to bigger and better things)

Yeah, my AGXs for the RS were $459. Not bad at all.

I had GR-2s on my old Celica that I used on the track and they were totally adequate. I think KYB makes the stock parts for the car, and IIRC the GR-2s are just a little bit nicer than stock and SO cheap. I'd say they are perfect for what you are looking for.

i love the drop i get with my teins thats the only reason i dont want to get rid of them, what springs with the kyb gr2's would make my match nice low height with these struts without risking me blowing my new struts?
