Yeah. When you're "under age" 25 and under it's always cheaper to stay on your parents policy. I do the same thing.

for 3 cars and life with state farm at your age with 1 point and living in san pablo i was paying 560 every six months.

now that im "older" and live in concord with 1 point for 2 cars and life im paying 364. i have all the discounts state farm offers

i would reccomend trying to get onto your parents insurance untill you turn 26....itll save you a lot of cash monay!

youre premiums are also going to be a little bit more for the first 6 months to a year (depending on what company) because you havent been in the state for awhile so you need to establish your record here. kind of like out of state students paying more for college until they establish residency

you can always try getting a quote from progressive.com and see where other companies stack up. But How is USAA as far as claims and such? id stick with the govt company untill the premiums come down if they treat you good! try and stay away from companies with brokers and not agents :P

you gotta list what kind of coverage you are getting.

some may pay low but get the basics while some pay high cause they need all the bases covered.

When I still had my 2003 WRX it was $720 for 6 months. I was 27 or 28 at the time though.
