Alright, long story short... I was just talking with a neighbor and he brought up an eerie scenario.

What if the US is not ready for a black president and someone assassinates Obama either before or after (if he does) get elected?

Can you imagine what kind of effect this would have? Even think about what could happen in the Bay Area. Between Berkley, SF, and Oakland things could get pretty crazy...

I pray to God that this doesn't happen, but I can't say that I don't think some crazy racist might not try it if Obama wins.

I just watched a news clip saying he's got the Secret Service protecting him almost a year sooner than other Presidential Candidates. Aside from Hillary Clinton, but that's because she is married to a former President.

If obama OR hillary gets elected, there will be an assasination.

 

if theres an assassination attempt? wasn't there a completely failed, but still attempted attempt to off bush a while back

funny you should mention it, last week the Secret Service inexplicably STOPPED SCREENING FOR WEAPONS at Obamas Dallas rally, to the shock of the local police.

They claimed it was to get people inside quicker, funny how the agency whos sole purpose there was to ensure security for Obama, suddenly decides its more important that people dont have to wait in line to long than to make sure the venue is secure. Think they would have stopped screening for weapons if it was Bush?

The threat of an assassination should not be a deterrent for voting the candidate you want.
Choosing a pres by "least likely to be shot" seems to be stupid.
