What the hell is with the state budget?
I don't understand how we are so screwed? Now they are trying to screw over city/county governments by taking millions from them? We are one of the most important states in the country but we are this ****ed? it's not like we have low taxes or fee's on anything. And ENRON??? none of us ever got any money for that so how about PG&E fix our state budget. They totally screwed us and stole power from us for other states. BS man, tired of this ****. Hope someone blasts arnold that old ****

Its not that we don't have high taxes its just they go up and down depending on what people are making, ie the economy. This is one of the MANY reasons the budget is one big cluster ****. But they are going screw us over now that we voted against the props they wanted. 
This is very simple. The more money you have, the more you are in DEBT. We have a huge economy, so it shows a lot more in our economy then say some no name state.
The Federal Reserve needs to be destroyed, they're letting us get pwned. As a businesses, people will take advantage when the interests are so low. Bernake, Paulson, Geihner (not sure that's how you spell it) are all idiots, and yet they're still at the helm. Til the Fed Reserve is toast, we'll always have this bang/bust economy.
This has nothing to do with Democrats and Republicans because it is them both.

it's really quite simple. the state budget is ****ed because it spends more than it makes.
for example, this state is budgeting $12+ billion for "higher education" for '09-'10. that's half the defecit allocated to college grants. sorry, i don't think that's a very great idea when we don't have it to spend...

All states are actually like California, it's just that their economy isn't so big that it shows. Everyone has debt, it's the FED Reserve that allowed it to be that way.
It's like the states are drunk cuz the Fed is supplying the alcohol. Remove the FED, screw these green notes (which are actual promissory notes for GOLD) and just switch back to gold.
The constitution allowed for COINING, actually making coins from silver and gold. Not for a replacement standards, those *******s.
