I posted this on another board as a WTF? One of our resident know it all's (Google and Wiki Champion of the World)_ found this.

http://www.teflwatch.org/forum/index...ic,1256.0.html

Looks to be a message board posting from a former teacher at the school. Basically, he says the kids are ignorant to the truth. But the school teachers and staff should know better.

Actually, in the original Eurasian context, the swastika represented the sun and is the symbol that was chosen by the ****'s and referred to as the "hakenkreuz", or "hooked cross". It was chosen due its connotation of power (that is, the sun and the strength of its light, heat, and the way it shines on everything). The "backwards" one is called the sAvastika and is traditionally a symbol of the moon.

Both symbols are used extensively in Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist cultures, sometimes with the savastika (the symbol of the moon) connoting either yin or sometimes something sinister.

Furthermore, the swastika is a commonly found symbol all over the world, including but not limited to Asia, pre-WWII Europe, ancient Greece, and even among Native American peoples!

It truly is a symbol greatly corrupted by **** Germany.

I know that and I'm not debating it. I'm just saying that if they're gonna look like ***** at least get the damn thing right. I think I heard years ago that their were "swastikas" on some Pokemon cards but they were "backwards". It was only idiots who didn't really know the meaning behind it that got pissed off.
