regarding local tuners, their customers, and i-Club
Notice that I didn't say 'fanboys'?
As of late, there have been a number of posts that have been critical of a specific tuner and business owner. I understand that members will have their own feelings based on their personal experiences but the rest of us should really withhold our opinions unless we have firsthand experiences.
What I see posted on this board is often the case of members rushing to defend a tuner. Loyalty demonstrated as such is to be admired but one of the consequences is that it will almost certainly be construed as ramblings of 'fanboys'. In a way, it IS, but that's because we're all people first and we develop friendships and loyalties from getting to know the person or persons tuning our cars. My own personal experiences after meeting and spending time with three of the tuners in BAIC/SRIC has been positive. Yes, they are also paying vendors but that doesn't influence my perception as how they are as human beings because I don't benefit monetarily from the operation of this message board.
There's a reason why I encourage tuning customers to post of their experiences, good or not so good, in i-Club's Reviews section. It allows members to share their experiences without causing fellow members to feel they have to take sides, for or against what is posted. All I ask is that the review is an honest one, and not simply posting just the bad stuff or conversely nothing but praise.
What I would hope for is that if there is a problem with a tuner or business owner, members would resolve it privately and in person. I really see no benefits to posting of their bad experiences in public. I know the internet is empowering and gives us all a voice but I also ask you to keep in mind that nothing will be gained from public airing of grievances with a business. i-Club.com was created by Alex for the mutual enjoyment of all members but it is still a private message board and not something that is to be used as a private soapbox to destroy someone we don't like.

Some of the things they have done ARE illegal, some are fraud and some are just down right wrong, I know Joe and Nate don't mean any harm by any of it, but the fact still remains that people where getting straight up SHAFTED, but if some newbie came around in the SRIC and asked "What shop should i do a Big MAF and GT35R swap????!!!!" The nut swingers would still say S-Squared without even hesitating!! When they obviously aren't capable of it! So when you have a whole board of people trying to scew the truth you have to stand up for yourself and say what you think and not let someone else fall into the same trap you did.
I know just as well as you about the issues over at S2. However, because I have a little tact and maturity I don't go around looking for internet fights and try to **** on the people associated with the shop. You see, I'm not an *******.
Right or wrong about the details, you need to grow the **** up. You're the god damn drama ring leader around here, and you're ruining i-club. This used to be a fun place to read, but all it is now is bull**** drama, passive agressive and otherwise.
I'm glad you feel vindicated about S-Squared's collapse, it's too bad you couldn't take the high road and let it speak for itself, rather than stir the pot like a little *****.

I just think it's ****ing hilarious that the BIGGEST S-Squared nut swinger in the worlds car got ****ing OWNED by S-Squared with one of the ugliest messes the world has ever seen(and ends up bringing his car to gruppe-s)... Then he trys to "take the high route" and be mature by talking ****, and continueing to stir the drama pot... LOL
Congrats Sperry you are the biggest hypocrite I-Club has seen!! I atleast I know where I stand, you sir are just retarded.
Seriously, if ONE ****ing person can ruin an entire website for you, you have ****ing issues bro that you need worked out. Maybe you should consult a counselour or just save the counselours time and not waste it and just kill yourself. Hey if THREE unhappy costumers can close a shop, I guess one person can ruin a website...
