hey..i thought someone might be able to tell me what the hell happened to bozz performance?!?! cause i tried callin them about a question with my clutch a week or 2 ago...and when i called the number on their NON workin website the number was dead...then i called 411 for the new number and not even an answerin machine picked up....

i am a noob here....i moved away from the bay about 6 months ago....i kinda just wanted to get back in touch with the sub community...as well as the bay area...

How come Bozz Japan and Bozz Performance here aren't doing business no more?

 

When BOZZ Performance was started, we worked very close with Bozz Speed japan. BP was exclusive distributors of BS parts in US. Then as time went by, BP picked up other lines from Japan (Zero Sports, Pit Road M, Kaze) which were competitors of BS for EVO, WRX and 3000GT parts. So, from business stand point, it was not right for BP to be exclusive on BS parts while distributing their competitor parts. That is why BP is no longer exclusive with BS. Up until about 1 year ago, BS had no exclusive dealer in US so anyone could buy direct from them. Now they have another exclusive distributor. The reason it is said so strong on their website, is because BS and BP have nothing really in common besides the "BOZZ" in their name. Japanese people always afraid to be associated wrongly with customers. So in order to satisfy their current exclusive distributor, that wording was added to prevent the confusion that BS=BP. Hope this makes sense.

All in all, BOSS Speed parts never sold good in US. Only 3000GT guys were buying their stuff back in 2000-2002.

 

Isn't Bozz still in Union City, they just moved to a shop behind the older one? I know Shiv tunes in Danville, but isn't that where he tunes in Union City?

so....u guys moved again?? thats what? twice in a year? fremont(which i liked cause i lived 5mins away) then that place u guys moved into in what?? february?? and u guys moved again?!?! ur movin more then my parents!!! hahaha!! anyways my question is no more...i figured it out...it had to do with refillin the clutch line.....and im pretty sure u installed my hyper single.

No, I did not install your Hypersingle. It would have been been me and I don't remember installing it for you. What car was it anyways?

well....if ur the possible white guy there?? unless theres more then 1 alex that works for bozz?? i dont know....i only remember seein 1...and my cars a blue 03 evo....and whoever installed my clutch told me about i-club too....but all this was almost 2 year ago in fremont...

 

Oh in old old place in Fremont? The nearly new Blue EVO with completely toasted stock clutch that got towed into the shop?
