I have about a half a bottle of Jack Daniels stored at room temp, some Ice, and not much else. Any ideas on the easiest way to drink this?

 

there's enough sugar in Jack as it is.

I guess you could add coke...

 

No soda in the house. Jack and Coke is one of my favorites.

hehe, I couldn't do that with Jack either (with a better tasting wiskey maybe, but definitely not Jack).

Normally with wiskey I'd suggest just on the rocks, but if thats too boring then I don't know what to say.

 

Hmm. Since you don't drink shots of JD, even over ice, and you don't seem able to go out at this hour to pick up some Coca Cola, may I suggest setting the bottle of Jack on the table, pulling up a chair, and just stare at it in a wistful way until you nod off at some ungodly hour?

Seriously, though, if you haven't been drinking yet tonight just fire up the ride and hit up a convenience store for some soda.

If its too strong, you could always try mixing one part jack with one part water and put it over ice. Kills a lot of the 'sting' and keeps a lot of the flavor.

Heck, at least you have booze in the house. All this talk makes me wish I had something to drink, even a couple of beers, but I don't feel like going out.
