Instead of cutting the deck lid cover thing to fit the brake light you should instead drill up from the bolt holes and large harness holes through the trunk instead. I wish I had done it that way.

Oh and let me know where you get it painted and how much. The local shop around me wanted $250 to do it. Its still unpainted in my trunk right now

Also you will have to give me details on the process. Im limited with drilling tho cause I custom mounted my amp to the area underneath the rear deck. I could always take it out and put it back in. It would need to fit flush tho.
I was going to install the brake fixture first but I looked up a quick diy and said eff that im just gonna drill the trunk lol.
The stencel is fool proof for real tho. No instructions just pictures.
I was gonna save mine cause its a great tool but im sure all the kits come with one.
If in doubt, FLAT OUT

Separate or with it already mounted? Seems a bit high for separate. Mounted they are going to blend usually, so might be higher. My scoop was $140 by itself with my gas cover to color match and it came out great.
Nice - I really like that one. How does it attach? I still have my stock '02 spoiler but because it was a dealer option then, I also have the 3rd brake light. Been thinking about this, but it probably would look weird on a WRB bugeye.

This sti limited fin is the best looking oem spoiler imho.
It goes on just like the wrx or sti spoiler.
Holes in the trunk. Kinda cool tho the trunk is sort of precut underneath to accept all spoilers. Easy access to the areas the bolts come thru.
I had to drill it but there was a stencil that came with the kit. Tape it up, punch the center of the holes then drill them out gradually. Fin drops right in

Whoops wrong quote. Was suppose to be 04GG
I may mount mine up still if I find a good shop to paint. I modified it also so I can just mount with 3m tape without drilling in case I ever want to go completely wireless again

I had some thief try to rip my roof rack off my car to get my bike.
They failed miserably at stealing the bike but succeeded in ****ing my **** up.....
My rear quarter panel was all crushed from them standing on it.
Luckly ive been with AAA for years and they even covered the cost of the new roof rack at retail price paying just deductable.
