I have been looking for this color for awhile now, I see alot of STi's, but none are as dark as this one.

I looked at an SGM one in person at the dealer, but it looked alot lighter then this color.

Is it SGM?

one of my friends who used to be into subarus said it was most likely a custom job.

That sucks, I really like that color.

 

Yeah, its either a custom job, or good trick photography. The 06 STi (nor any other year) didn't come in that color.

 

To me it looks like SGM on a very overcast day.

 

That's a factory color.
SGM=Steel Grey Metallic.

Yeah with a deal like this I can't really be picky. I just sold some stock so I can get the back fixed and then I have to take the TBE off. The body shop said it would be done by the end of next week.
