Yeah I just want to be sure whatever rims I get the ones I know I'll like in the long run. There've been a few good offers for some bronze rims, but I wasn't really digging bronze. So I just don't want to spend mindlessly without thinking how it'll look on my car.

I'm thinking of making my BBS's my track rims and whatever rims I get my DD rims. Looking to get either Volks CE28N or Works VSXX

I've got a 06 CGM wrx and these are the choice I like after looking at Subydude.com and the Gray gallery

Gold (stock bbs' look great imo)
bronze (a good bronze like from work or volk)
Hyper Black

And after looking at wheels on Cars I REALLY like the looks of CE28s, NT03, and VSXX.

I really like the look of the VSXX after seeing them on So Steezy's car (except I don't wanna be as aggressive I believe he was 18x10)

Either way get what you think looks nice and don't be too flashy.

Go visit wheeldude.com and look through their gallery. That might give you a better idea of what colors work since that's the only place I know where you can flip through a boatload of photos of different color combinations. You can only sort by wheel color though, but I'm sure you'll find what you need to know.

I know people rag on Rotas, but I have no idea why. I know one of the first Rota models had a bad batch, but thats the only problem I've ever heard of and that was in 2001 or so, and just a batch of wheels. I've ran over some really gnarly things on my Roats and they took the impact like champions, even with my tiny side wall.

GST motor sports used a very popular wheel brand for their race car, after using them for a while they noticed that the wheels would bend very often, so they decided to change to Rotas, and since then I don't think they've had a single incident with them and it's been a long time since they switched.

Gary Sheehan also agrees and loves Rotas. I've seen him praising Rotas a few times over the years, and he's a race car driver.

Rotas are great wheels and I'd use them any day of the week.

Of course every wheel can be bent, or break... Even the strongest wheels on earth, but this doesn't seem to be a frequent occurrence with Rotas, unlike some other big name brands.

Not only are they great wheels, but you'll save a lot of dough by getting them. If you're not a brand *****, then this is a perfect alternative.

I respect people that like Rotas and personally don't have a problem with them. It's just that I really think they don't look as nice as the real thing. I've been wheel shopping and looked at a few for-sale threads on clubrsx shows side to side pictures between the real thing and the Rota version and I have to admit that the real thing definitely looks better. Just my 2 cents
