Does not have to be under 50k. More like between 100k and 150k.

If he can afford the Ferrari, and really fancies himself a good driver, I would then go for the Porsche GT3 (if those are still offered since the 997 has come out). Or if he wants more luxury than speed the Astin Martin DB9 is a gem of a car. If he doesn't want a car with a torque converter tranny (even though it's better than 99% of the dry clutch trannys out there) he could wait about six months for the Astin Martin V8 Vantage which will feature a dry clutch paddle shifted tranny.

Yick. The Masarati Spyder just lost a Motor Trend comparo to an AUTOMATIC C6 vette that didn't even have the z51 upgraded suspension. For 100k? No thanks.

i would get a porsche..those things can be so sexy. for that much money...a viper? how about be RELALY cool and important a skyline..yeah. aston martin is a really nice and rare car also.
