I've owned 3 BMW's, a 1990 535i, a 92 325iS, and a 89 325i
The 535 had 160K on it but then it got totalled
The 325iS had 120K on it, but then I eventually sold it cuz I didnt need that AND the WRX
ohh right, and the E30.... 256K miles on it when I sold it to buy my truck...sold it to some guy on the east coast and he drove it from CA back to the east coast without any problems.

-240sx (just hope that he doesnt jump onto drift bandwagon unless he actually knows what hes doing)
-miata (if hes willing to look beyond its girly-ness and see it as a handling machine)

91 to 94 Nissan Sentra SE-R. Front wheel drive but most came with an lsd, and it's 140 hp stock. I've got one as my daily and it's a fun ride. Kinda boxy, but low-key in a good way. And if you want something racier, get the Nissan NX2000; same car, different package.

Also, I agree with 02BlackWRX about the Bimmers. The older ones are pretty great cars, and very reliable.

I would say an MR2 if you can find one, that was my first car and I loved it. If you don't want a RWD i would say a 94-95 GSR also, since they are cheaper than the 93's.
