So today I was coming back from Napa on 680 right before 580. An EVO pulls out from the on ramp (I think Acosta?) Any way, he was doing nothing wrong, just driving.

A CHP was behind me and pass me up, he was just cruising along 2nd lane from the left. He sees the EVO who was going 65ish two lanes over. CHP slows, paces the EVO, changes 2 lanes, get behind him and flashes the lights.

I took 580 so I couldn't see anything more.

But this sucks. The only apparent reason he got pulled over was the car. He wasn't speeding, used his signal.

Makes me happy that I drive a wagon. Makes me sad that pigs use their power to waste their time for this.

If an evo owner want to link this to an EVO forum, feel free. Just in case the pig wrote down some BS speeding ticket for him. This was 680S ~ 6pm 7/5 I'll testify.

 

was the evo silver by chance with pretty dark tint, smoked lights, and black wheels?

It was silver, probably smoked light (didn't have the altezza lights), couldn't tell about the wheels I was behind him.

 

ah.. you obviously don't see my point. He didn't do anything wrong. He was on the freeway for about 1 minute, then got pulled over.

from what others have said, it looks like he may have tint. even so, there were plenty of speeders to pull over vs. tint.

He gets sighted a lot in the I-club community...Davon raced him last week also.

 

You obviously don't know anything about police work. A biased opinion about what the EVO driver was supposedly doing, or not doing, means nothing. Thanks for playing, try again later.

 

i'll ask him what he got pulled over for when I see him thursday.

If it was for exhaust or something the cop has every right to pull him over...he can pull him over for his smoked, black taillights as well.

Wais' exhaust IS pretty loud...thats reason enough for an officer to pull him over...he also has front tinted windows I think.

i'll let you know what it was for...it probably wasn't for speeding though.

Cop hassled him about no front plate for 5 minutes and then let him go.
