During the Honda Challenge race on Sunday he tangled with (Mike) Lock coming over the bypass and flipped end over end a few times.

Not quite.

Brandon was leading Mike Lock nose to tail coming up over the bypass, Brandon was passing a slower H2 car when he and the H2 car had contact as the cars got light sending Brandon into a roll down the downside of the bypass.

Mike Lock had no contact and got on his brakes to avoid hitting either car after which he followed Brandon straight off track where Brandon came to a stop right side up, Mike then tried to contact Brandon while he was unconcious eventually giving up and getting out of his own car to check on Brandon and trying to get the attention of the NASA safety officials.

Mike

ahh I was just going by what I heard, was in the car myself so I didn't see.

I wasn't aware he was unconscious, must have hit the cage or something?

if he had a harness it's probably not likely he hit his cage... the impact could have blacked him out

You would be surprised how much harnesses stretch.
