I'm off on Wednesday, so i'll probably be there.
I went to the CMI drag @ Sac Raceway on Sunday and that was the worst experience in my life. My times were pretty good, 13.95 @ 96 MPH. However the staff there SUCKS!! They f***ed me over along with my friend and some guy from Havoc Elite race team. Me and my friend reached the semis and because it was our first time getting that far, we didn't know we had to go back in line and get ready to race again. When I got my time slip from the lady, she told me to wait at the pit area, so I did. She told my friend who raced before me the same thing. We waited about ten minutes before we decided to go to the race area and checked when will it be our turn again. When we got there, they told us that they already finished with the semis and that it was our fault for not coming straight back after our previous race. Upon hearing this, we went straight to the announcer booth and complained. The person in charge admitted that the lady giving out the time slips screwed up. I appreciated the fact that they aknowledged their mistake, but they still screwed me and my friend over from a $400 first prize and a 5' tall trophy. We both could've gotten the $$$ and the trophy because we were in separate classes. I know this story had nothing to do with Wednesday's drag meet, but I thought i'd tell you guys the story anyway just in case anyone goes there.
