Tightening up my suspension worked against me. My a$$ was so sore by the time I got home, which was 12 hours of being out on the road.
Good times though. It's stuff like this that makes me appreciate my subie even more.

Some more pics below. Stopped by a friends house in the city on the way home for like 45min, but other than that it was a 14 hour driving day for me. I'm a little sore today, but a little pain was worth all of those smiles. In fact, I'm still grinning ear to ear.
My ride home was pretty fun too. On 280S I had to play teacher in an ad hoc drivers education class. The student: some wannabe 911 driver. Apparently unaware of what a Stage II Forester can do in 4th. Lets just leave it at that... don't want to self incriminate
Thanks everybody for a fantastic time. That was my first time on any of those roads, but hopefully not my last.

Sorry, just flexin'
no soreness, only a little trouble getting to sleep due to massive caffine overdose
God, I love my Recaros :RockOn - not mine:
Edit: by the way, the consensus is the RX-8 was sick!! Looked very Viper-like from my mirror. But yes, wider wheels!!

[QUOTE=EQ Tuning;2060472]That was a freaking blast. I haven't had a chance to drive like that in quite some time and the STI really needed that workout . The impressive part was you keeping that pace in your 4EAT WRX!!! I guess knowing the roads like the back of your hand help
.

It was a pleasure driving with you all, (Ed and me should be outlawed), looking forward to the next one. I need to bring a better radio next time, only a few people could hear my warnings about cars coming the other way.
As for my 4eat: I’m the answer to all the people that say WRX 4eat owners are slow and lack the skill to drive. After 6 years and now 10 i-club drives, my baby has never let me down; still pulls great in 2nd gear.

12.4 MPG in my '02 wagon. I was flooring it a lot and was at the redline in 2nd quite a bit.
Those 1st gear burnouts at the uphill hairpins (unintentional, but very dramatic
) probably didn't help. If you saw 4 burnout tracks, those were probably me.
Oh, that was up till we got gas in Guala. 10 gallons and 124 miles.
