Every baller talks trash. you know kobe talks ish. Jordan was WELL KNOWN for talking major trash.. Yao Ming didnt become great until he STARTED TALKING TRASH! Hell, I bet even Steve Nash talks trash (you just dont hear about it)! If you hate all players that talk trash, then you will hate every baller but the 12th men guaranteed. Unfortunately its part of the game.

 

its a big part of any sport. you have to believe that you are better than the guy you're guarding or you're gonna get beat. It's like in boxing...if you don't think you're gonna knock the other guy out...don't get in the ring...you'll get hurt. :brutale_smilies010:

I agree that talking trash is part of the game, but there's a big difference between talking trash to the opposing team versus talking trash to the ref. After watching last nights game, with both Davis and especially Jackson talking trash to the ref, I got the impression that the Warriors are just a bunch of immature thugs.

So let me clarify my point:

Trash talking/harassing opponents = part of game
Trash talking/harassing ref = STUPID and a clear sign of immaturity
