I had an 09 C30 that I sold for my 10 WRX. While the C30 was nice inside, and unique outside, it was just too damn small. It doesn't feel/drive like a small car either (good for some and bad for others) In the end, a small FWD car just didn't do it for me. Intersting thing is that it shares the same engine and chassis as the Focus RS (but the volvo is 227hp rated, instead if 300hp+)

Back to the Honda, seems like it's their take on the Porsche Panamera which, IMHO, is pretty ugly. And the Honday is just as ugly.

The only thing I don't like about the c30 is the rear end. That said, I have a c70 hardtop convertible and it drives just like a real sports car... that someone filled with bricks. Once you get used to the front wheel drive it really is a borderline nice car. Assuming the c30 experience is anything like that, I'd take my 02wrx any day.

It's not so much the styling, or "lines" that I have issues with so much as the general proportions which happen to be so awful. Besides, it looks so big anyway why even try with the "sporty"?

That's exactly what I said above, the C30 also feels like you're driving a much bigger heavier car. The suspension, while fairly comfortable, doesn't feel as sporty as say a GTI which is a somewhat comparable car.
I am having much more fun, driving experience wise, with the WRX than the C30. Although, I would say the C30 is better overall as far as power, comfort, and build quality (specially the interior), where as the WRX compromises some comfort (and luxury) for performance, which is what I enjoy now.
